School has adopted 'Traditional System' changed by CBSE, New Delhi, CBSE has changed marking system from 2018-19 academic session. In new pattern entire syllabus will be included in the exam and exam has divided in two parts Half yearly and Annual of 80 marks. Internal assessment salient features 20 marks will be completed through three different modes.
- Periodic written test: 10 Marks
- Notebook submission: 5 Marks
- Subject enrichment activity: 5 Marks
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF D.P.S. FOR STUDENTS
1. This diary must be in the possession of the student on every working day in the school.
2. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions. Students who are solvent dressed or not in uniform will be sent home.
3. No student is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours, without the permission of the principal.
4. The students will see to it that no school property is damaged in any form. The students will not bring anything besides their books to the school.
5. Without application, no leave will be sanctioned.
6. The school does not permit students to bring or keep cell phones or any other electronic gadget with them.
7. Changing of classrooms between periods should be done promptly and in silence.
8. The school reserves the right to suspend student whose progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful for other students.
9. Students are not allowed to use school telephone without permission of the receptionist. They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
10. English speaking environment is compulsory in D.P.S. campus.
FOR PARENTS
1. Parents are requested not to give money to the students and shall not allow their ward to put or carry any Jewellery etc. in the school. The school, in no way mobile, phone, bikes, watch, Blades, scissors etc. will be responsible for any theft or loss of their such goods.
2. Parents are requested that they revise the same concept as being done in the school.
3. Parents are requested to send lunch box, water bottle, Handkerchief etc. with their ward.
4. A sick child should not be sent to school. In case of emergency, authorized escort must carry a letter from the parents, to take the child home.
5. Parents and guardian of all students should meet the teachers on PTM days to know the progress of their wards.
6. Check the school bag, haircut, nails, uniform, and punctuality of your ward in the morning.
7. Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
8. Parents are requested not to insist on meeting a teacher during classes. They may meet after school over.
PAYMENT OF FEES
1. If any students fails to pay school dues till the due date then He / She will be prevented from appearing in the exam.
2. Fee depositing Schedule i.e. from 1st date up to 10th date of same month and you are allowed to deposit your ward fee in every month.
Note- You Can Deposit the fee of your ward quarterly., but in the first month of that quarter. 3. The fee of May & June must be deposited in May month & the fee of Feb & March will deposited in Feb. Month . (increment in fee i.e. tuition & transport 5 to 10% and 5% respectively)
4. School dues are to be paid in cash/cheque/draft are debit card etc. accepted by school.
5. If you are not depositing the fees according to fee schedule, then 2 Rupees per day will be charge as a fine.
6. If your ward absent more than a week he/she will be struck off from the school roll.
7. In case of being absent from school for seven days continually, name will be struck off from school. Re-Admission charge is applied.
TRANSPORT
1. Students using school bus/vans will maintain discipline in the bus/van.
2. All student using the school bus/van are expected to be on the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
3. Buses / vans will not wait for the late comers.
4. Students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
5. In case of any problem with regards to driver or conductor of the bus. Parent will inform to the Transport In charge.
THE HOUSE SYSTEM
One of the main objectives of the House System is to foster among the students a sense of collective responsibility and solidarity. The system provides not only the spirit of teamwork and training in leadership, but also broadens the outlook for international understanding.
